1. After reviewing the four religious traditions what came to me was each religion has a strong morality or a strong moral compass. People who have strong faith and beliefs follow the teachings of their religions. With this they have a strong sense of right and wrong or good and evil. After reading, one of the main concepts I saw on how these religions are similar is they all value selflessness and they are for the people. A Buddhist leadership is infused with selflessness and interconnected with everyone and the world. Judaism leadership is about empowering others for the long term good of the people. Christianity values service to others. Christians don’t just look at their own interest but the interest of everyone, its about service and self-sacrifice. Finally, Muslim’s leadership is characterized by a sense of lived spirituality and the avoidance of personal ambition (Dierendnck & Patterson, 2010). The way I saw that these religions are different is that though they may have similar ideals such as being for the people, they all have a different spiritual structure.

I think it’s always important to understand different religions as each have their own practices and traditions. It provides a different perspective, one different than what you may have. Understanding others religions also helps us interact and understand one another better.

Developing servant leadership in African countries the data showed that communities had to overcome violence and needed help to rebuild communities, The African cultures have leadership with three dimensions are service, Humility and vision. In East Africa it is about acceptability and applicabilty meaning what is acceptable in the community and how can they apply servant leadership. In South Africa the focus is on forgiveness and rebuilding communities. Overcoming violence and destruction. In Latin countries it is about a higher power. Constructing leadership from a family perspective and mostly male dominated. Living a life of integrity seeking a higher power and getting other to participate.and having leaders that motivate to the greatest abilities.In proteguese countries they evaluate their relevance and then how to apply leadership .In Asian countries they thought of the servant model as being weak. Asians place a lot of relevance to being self-sufficient.

Servant leadership at times may seem foreign to many cultures once people see that you are contributing to their culture they will become more receptive and be more accepting. First you have to understand to be understood.

Then you are setting the example. Most cultures are willing to build friendships and except kindness.
