Introduction

In this reflective journal entry, I will explore my experiences in communicating effectively with clients who are experiencing sensory loss, specifically hearing or sight impairment. Personal Experience 1: Communication with a Hearing-Impaired Client

During my practicum in a rehabilitation center, I encountered a patient who had recently lost their hearing due to an accident. Communicating effectively with them proved to be a challenge as I had limited experience with hearing-impaired individuals.
