What have you been able to identify through the visual representation of the data? According to the data listed in the sales spreadsheet, I quickly saw the products that was offered; Guava Bar, Sopapillas, Chocolade, Carne Assada, Queso Fresco, Empanada and Boldo Tea. I also saw the monthly sales amounts from January to April. When looking at the data we can see that the Boldo Tea and the Chocolade sales were decreasing each month since January but there was a little increase during march and declined again in April. Since the data was on the spreadsheet it was difficult to determine how our sales are trending. When a visualization is used like a graph, table, or any other visual is added to the data, it makes it easier to see the important information.
What kind of graphic have you selected and why? I chose bar graph for the products and the total sales by month data. I chosen to use this graph because its easy to read and helps provide a nice overview of the information from the spreadsheet. It can also be helpful when changing the menu during the seasons and remove the slow sellers and keep the ones that sell the most during that timeframe.
