What do I really want these people to know about me? Do I even really know? I do know what I value and what my values are. My interests always change and I have taken multiple personality tests to try to identify my personality traits. Some are spot on and some are not. Now knowing the world of work It is referred to as occupational discovery. The way to discovery how will I engage with a corporation or organization. More importantly, how will labor be exchanged for capital (Knight 2020).

I will merge these two to make better career decisions by really understanding my values and interests and see how it aligns with my personality and skills. Understanding how they align with the way I can engage with a business is important. I went out on a limb and submitted my resume and cover letter to a job offer. I told them that I will not finalize my degree until February. They were ok with it. I went from 36 candidates down to the final two. Looking back I think that they sensed I really didn’t know who I was to be in my profession yet. I was asked several questions about myself and I was at a loss for words. I was asked, what would someone else say about me… I was once again at a loss.
