1. Social development is when a child experiences , expresses their emotions and can establish a positive relationship with anyone. Neurotypical is when a child is showing growth of their development skills and being cooperative. children learn mostly from adults how to do these things.

I think this is important because children have to learn from adults how to adapt to everyday things and neurotypical gives them the ability to do things such as being cooperative , getting to know their peers and the environment around them and that’s something that adults have to teach child how to do because its a big part of their social life.

3. I will use this information with my work on children in the future by sundering their backgrounds and getting to know my students and how they have acted with teachers maybe before me and what can I do to help them be either more active in class or learning how to share with their peers

1.) Neurotypical social and emotional development is the relation between the way one grows and thinks based on their environment, age range and culture. Some examples from the California Infant Toddler and Preschool Foundations are at 48 months of age a toddler may display signs of empathy by bringing a toy to a crying peer for example. Or a 60 month child will show signs of self awareness for example , pointing out they can ride a bike but their younger sibling can’t yet.

 

2.) I think it is important to have knowledge of neurotypical social and emotional development in young children so we don’t over or under react when a child displays certain behaviors. Not only is it great to have this knowledge as people who work directly with youth and children but as parents it is great to have this knowledge. Anyone who deals with children in any way shape or form should have this knowledge I believe.

 

3.) I will use the information I obtained on neurotypical social and emotional development in my future work with young children by understanding them better. When we understand one another more clearly we have better direction in regards to providing help.
