For Part 1, you will write an article. In the article, you will demonstrate your thought leadership by writing at least one of the following topics in marketing of a business or product:

• How changing demographics can influence the marketing of a business or product.
• The benefits of a value proposition when marketing a business or product.
• The benefits of knowing the competitive advantage of the business or product.
• Why marketers should know their first mover or follower position when marketing a business or product.

For Part 2, you will write an article. In the article you will demonstrate your thought leadership by discussing one of the different aspects of creating a marketing and sales strategy:

• The importance of creating marketing objectives and establishing customer target segments.
• How social media marketing fits with these marketing objectives and the relationship to the target segments.
• The benefits of using a CRM and its effect on sales and marketing.
• How a CRM can assist in managing revenue growth.

Write at least 400 words.Make sure to check your grammar, spelling and punctuation before submitting.

For your Portfolio Presentation, using what you prepared for Part 1 and Part 2, you will create a presentation that summarizes and explains the marketing of a business or product, and creating a sales and marketing strategy.

• Put together a PowerPoint slideshow, including text, graphics, visuals, etc., that should be effective in helping your audience understand your presentation.
• The presentation should address the following:
  • The benefits of marketing a business or product and creating a sales and marketing strategy.
  • What to consider when implementing a sales and marketing strategy
  • How these strategies can affect an organization overall.

The presentation should be organized and well-prepared. The presentation should be between 8-10 slides.
