Final/term assignment: Individual Company Report Written submission to be done and submitted after completion of week 5 content
Students can select a company of their choice to discuss in an individual report. The main criterion is that the company must be a sell to businesses at some stage of the process (e.g. B2B or B2B2C). There is a 10-page limit (no need to approach it), and you are allowed unlimited exhibits. (However, you must be able to keep the section professor’s interest, so superfluous pages and exhibits will drop your grade.)
Point allocation (35 points maximum): • Company Background, Business Strategy and Differentiation Approach – 5 points • Analysis of Customer Segmentation, Sales Strategy and Sales Coverage Approach (geography, product, etc) – 5 points • Customer focus (intrinsic, extrinsic, strategic) and Channel strategy analysis : 5 points • SWOT Analysis of Company’s Sales approach – 5 points • Recommendations for improving topline growth – 5 points • Use of appropriate methodology from asynchronous and synchronous sessions: 10 points
