In the military it would be a little more difficult considering there is a contract you sign and unit you have to be at for a certain amount of time. Ways that have resolved issues between two employees have been department changes, or in worse cases would be a unit change to somewhere near the previous unit. For two patients, one has to consider HIPPA, as well as the illnesses of the two patients as well. Having the two patients separate at the time of the conflict would be the first course of action, and then investigating why the two are having the conflict in the first place. It would not be wise to sit the two patients down together and talk with a supervisor because of the HIPPA concerns, and having the two talk it out together while supervised would also not be wise. Past medical history could come up and HIPPA breaches of other matters could be at stake as well.
