In the realm of teaching and learning, the choice between adopting the “transmission” view or the “social constructivist” view is a pivotal decision that shapes the overall approach and effectiveness of an educator. Personally, I am inclined to adopt the “social constructivist” view in my future teaching practice. This view emphasizes the collaborative and interactive nature of learning, where knowledge is actively constructed through social interactions, discussions, and hands-on experiences. I believe that learners benefit immensely when they are actively engaged in their learning process, drawing from their own experiences and connecting with their peers to build a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
