Why do you think this is their style? Give specific examples. If the caregivers are not portrayed, what parenting style do you think they probably used based on the character’s behavior and what you’ve learned about the outcomes of different styles?

Write about a decision the character made at some point. This can be a big difficult decision or a small everyday action. Why did the character make this choice? Use Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs or Self Determination Theory (pgs 342-344) to explain what happened and what needs the character was trying to meet.
